The four practices

Story, site, ecology, and revenue — held together.

01

Marketing

Brand foundations, story systems, launch campaigns, and photographic direction grounded in the place itself.

02

Architecture & site planning

Master planning, building choreography, pathways, gathering spaces, and the intelligence of land use.

03

Natural & environmental

Soil, water, biodiversity, planting, stewardship, restoration — the ecological heartbeat of the project.

04

Revenue generation

Retreats, memberships, residencies, hospitality, education, and mixed-use models that fund the long arc.

02 · Selected work

03Retreat center → shared community

De Uelenspieghel

From single-owner retreat center to a full-fledged shared community.

We helped De Uelenspieghel transition from a traditional single-owner land-steward model into a shared community anchored by a weekly community sharing circle we set up. We designed revenue-sharing structures across member Airbnbs so residents earn together from the land, and built the marketing newsletter that continues to drive long-term retreat bookings — with the calendar sold out most of the year. We also delivered full interior designs for two on-site Airbnb rentals — decoration, styling, new flooring, and painting — together with their Airbnb and Naturhuisje online listings. Nearly six years on, those setups still run untouched and continue generating long-term rental revenue to this day.

Scope

  • Weekly community sharing circle
  • Shared-ownership & governance design
  • Member Airbnb revenue-sharing model
  • Marketing newsletter system
  • Long-term retreat booking engine
  • Interior design for two Airbnb rentals
  • Decoration, styling, flooring & painting
  • Airbnb & Naturhuisje listing setup

Outcome

A cohesive resident community with aligned revenue, a retreat calendar that stays sold out most of the year, and two Airbnb rentals still generating long-term income nearly six years later — unchanged since launch.

04Retreat center · on-site residency

Ibiza Yoga Center

Three months on the land — securing the manager's long-term contract with the owner.

We consulted directly with the managing owner and helped secure a renewed engagement with the community steward, who lived off site. Living on the property for three months, we analyzed every facet of the project — revenue streams, community dynamics, volunteer structuring (including live-in volunteers), and the substance-abuse dynamics that quietly shape a retreat environment. From that analysis we built a structured outline and plan the manager brought to the owner, securing a long-term contract that protected the investment and the continuity of the on-the-ground leadership.

Scope

  • 3-month on-site residency & analysis
  • Revenue stream review
  • Community dynamics assessment
  • Volunteer & live-in volunteer structuring
  • Substance-use dynamics in retreat settings
  • Structured plan for owner presentation
  • Long-term management contract support

Outcome

A long-term management contract secured between owner and steward — protecting the investment and stabilizing the community's leadership for the years ahead.
