Central Portugal · A village in formation
Aldeia do Amanhã.
Aldeia do Amanhã — Portuguese for "Village of Tomorrow."
Part ecovillage. Part theme park. Part holistic healing center. A place in the interior of central Portugal built with nature as co-designer, and dedicated to the highest priority of a human life — fun.
We don't only return to this place. We manifest it forward.

What we're building · in order
Ten things — built in this order, for a reason.
This is the actual build list for Aldeia do Amanhã, prioritized. Health comes first. Fun and sport come next. Every element is designed to the highest standard we can reach — no cheap camp, no rough edges — and every one is chosen because a lifetime on the road told us it belonged here.
- 01
Health · non-negotiable
Health & fitness campus
Truly clean water, a real detox facility, and industry-level medical supervision on-site. Every top-tier healing modality the wider community brings us — bodywork, breath, sauna, cold, lymph, nutrition, functional medicine — housed under one serious roof.
- 02
Sport · training-camp grade
Padel, football, golf — pro-level
Facilities good enough to attract foreign sports teams for training camps. Our founder came out of twenty years at the top of U.S. club soccer — we are building the training ground he always wished existed in one place.
- 03
Wonder · never before in the region
Theme-park caliber experiences
First up: a proper hot-air balloon operation — nothing like it exists in central Portugal yet. Real rides, real infrastructure, real magic in the sky above the montado.
- 04
Spirit · co-ed & wide open
Spiritual sharing center
A dedicated events hall for sharing circles, ecstatic dance, live music, ceremony — and any wonderfully wacky idea a member walks in with. If it's alive, we make room for it.
- 05
Land · every creature
Farm & full animal sanctuary
Whatever animal you can name, we want a place for it — done responsibly, in a way that actually helps the species we take in. Not a petting zoo. A refuge with intention.
- 06
Stay · like living in a story
Stone-walled retreat center
Full-service retreat quarters built entirely out of stone — Harry Potter corridors, cathedral dining halls, long tables and torchlight. Everyone playing along, because we are, quite deliberately, living inside a film.
- 07
Homes · quiet & EMF-hygienic
Private, low-EMF houses
Each home sits in its own private pocket of land, engineered for proper electrical and wireless hygiene. Silence you can hear. Sleep you can actually recover in.
- 08
Design · ultra high-end
Top-tier materials, tasteful design
The best materials we can source — sometimes global, always with a strong bias toward what the region does beautifully. Modern, elaborate, playful without ever tipping into tacky. This isn't a cheap place to stay. It shouldn't be.
- 09
Air · water · food · hygiene
Cleanest air, water, and food on the property
Serious filtration, active air repopulation, and indoor hygiene standards forged in the hardest places on earth — including a night in Bali that nearly killed the founder. Hand-tested inputs. No corner cut on the things that keep a body alive.
- 10
Table · last on purpose ✧
Farm-to-table eating center
The full farm-to-table dining experience is deliberately the last piece we build. There's a reason it comes at the end — something special we'll reveal in time.
The farm-to-table eating center comes last. There's a reason for that — one we'll share when the time is right. ✧
01 · What it is
A village that is three things at once.
Most places try to be one thing well. Aldeia do Amanhã is deliberately three — because a whole human life needs all three, and no single institution has ever been generous enough to hold them together.
part ecovillage
Rooted
Real regeneration on real land. Cork oak, olive, chestnut, water, food — a village that quietly feeds, waters, warms, and repairs itself. Nature is not a backdrop; nature is the co-designer of every path, wall, and choice.
part theme park
Playful
Every part of the village is engineered for delight. Follies, secret gardens, water rides through the terraces, treehouse studios, a hand-built carousel of ideas. Adults are allowed to be children here. That is the whole point.
part holistic healing center
Whole
Sauna, cold plunge, sound temple, bodywork, breathwork, plant medicine ceremonies held with real lineage. The inner and outer world braided together, so life choices come from a whole self — not a fragmented one.
The four priorities
Health first. Everything else grows from that.
- 01
Health
Bodies, minds, soil, water, relationships. Nothing gets built on a foundation that isn't well. Health is the first infrastructure and the last one we ever cut.
- 02
Fun
A village that stops being fun has stopped being a village. Joy is not a reward for the work — it is how we know the work is still the right work.
- 03
Riches & abundance
Real wealth: full pantries, honest income, generous tables, time to rest. We build an economy that returns more than it takes, for everyone inside it.
- 04
Share it with the planet
Whatever we learn here — about land, healing, governance, joy — belongs to the wider world. Open doors, open teachings, open blueprint.
02 · The six core lessons
The lessons we live by.
Six lessons a lifetime on the road handed us. They are the compass every decision at Aldeia do Amanhã is measured against — from the smallest daily choice to the largest one about the land.
- 01
Everything happens for a reason
Nothing that arrives at the village — a guest, a storm, a setback, a stranger — is random. We treat every event as a message worth reading before it is reacted to.
- 02
Don't give up
Real land, real people, real weather. Things break, seasons fail, plans stall. We stay. Continuity is the first ingredient of anything lasting.
- 03
Listen to your body
The body knows before the mind admits. Rest when tired, move when stiff, eat what heals, leave what harms. Health is the first infrastructure we build.
- 04
Smile sweetly
Warmth is a discipline. We meet each other, and every visitor, with a soft face and an open chest — especially on the hard days. This is how a village stays a village.
- 05
Anything can happen
We hold plans loosely. The village stays curious, permeable, and ready to be surprised — by weather, by people, by ideas that arrive without an appointment.
- 06
Everything is possible
The village itself is proof. We build as if the future we want is already on its way — because that is the only posture that ever built anything worth living inside.

03 · Building with nature
Land development decisions are made with nature, not against it.
Every road follows the water. Every building follows the sun and the wind. Every crop follows the natural rhythm of the montado. We treat the forces of nature — and the long relationship we have with them — as the first design team on the project.
This is slower than conventional development. It is also the only kind of development that keeps giving back to the land, the neighbours, and the next generations, instead of extracting from them.
The land is the client. We are the apprentices.
04 · The land
Central Portugal · Beira interior.
Hills, cork oak, olive, chestnut, deep well water. Not the coast — the quiet, mineral interior of central Portugal, where the country still remembers itself.

05 · How it gets built
A decade of patient, joyful work.
- Stage 01
Land & permitting
Parcel selection in central Portugal, environmental & water studies, community-consent groundwork with neighbouring aldeias.
- Stage 02
Master plan with nature
Architecture, landscape, and play design drawn with the site — sun, wind, water, and montado dictate the geometry first.
- Stage 03
Regenerative infrastructure
Off-grid energy, greywater, reforestation, cork-oak restoration, food forest, bee sanctuary.
- Stage 04
Village that plays
Retreat lodges, healing pavilion, sauna & cold plunge, communal kitchen, workshops, follies, gardens, and the first theme-park rides through the terraces.
- Stage 05
Culture & rituals
Weekly festivals, decision-making circles, art residencies — the small daily practices that turn a group into a joyful people.
- Stage 06
Long stewardship
Year 7–10+: an operating village that quietly funds itself and gets more beautiful, more fun, and more useful every year.
This is for you if
- — You believe joy and rigour belong in the same sentence.
- — You want to develop yourself, on purpose, past your current edge.
- — You want to live where the land, the art, and the healing are the same conversation.
- — You want your children (or your inner child) to grow up somewhere that feels like an adventure park with a soul.
- — You are ready to plant into something that will outlive you.
This is not for you if
- — You are looking for a passive real-estate return.
- — You want the outputs of a community without doing the inner work.
- — You want a rule-book instead of a living culture.
- — You believe "serious" and "fun" are opposites.
- — You are not ready to be changed by a place.
